Due to the heavy rainfall this spring, scientists are forecasting an abundant mosquito season which is how Heartworm Disease is spread. Another health topic to be aware of is Leptospirosis. This disease is spread through the urine of wildlife, in particular coyote, deer and raccoons. Direct contact is not necessary and it is contagious to humans. This safe vaccination can be added to your dog’s current vaccination schedule.
